Even as a cybersecurity company, we can admit that even the best defenses against attack are useless when undermined from the inside–even when it’s done unwittingly. That’s why Webroot believes so strongly in security awareness training (SAT). Luckily, it’s been our experience that MSPs place a shared value on cybersecurity education.
But for SAT to be cost-effective on top of just being plain old effective, it needs to be put to use–consistently and at scale. If left up to MSPs to conceive of, build out and administer an entire curriculum of courses, the workload would be understandably overwhelming. And that doesn’t even account for deploying training courses across multiple client sites while also running all the other aspects of an MSP business.
Such are the challenges facing MSPs looking to experience the heightened security benefits SAT can deliver.
It’s also why Webroot is proud to announce a series of updates aimed at improving the experience of administering SAT for MSPs. These improvements were meant to respond to MSP needs for a faster, simpler and more efficient way to offer cybersecurity education––freeing MSPs to spend more time growing their businesses.
Building Security Awareness Training That Works Hard for MSPs
We made key improvements to our management console to improve productivity and the ability to serve clients.
The first, which is unique to the industry, provides a single-pane-of-glass overview of end-user training campaigns across all client sites via the new Global Management Dashboard. The dashboard now serves as a single point of management for all SAT, with no need to navigate around the platform to locate different client sites. Using a simplified four-step workflow, it’s now quicker and easier to launch phishing simulations or other training campaigns, instantly check results and generate unique phishing reports for multiple sites.
To increase operational efficiency, our customizable MSP-ready templates and phishing lure pages now allow for the deployment of effective campaigns for any client in a matter of minutes. Additionally, we updated the following SAT courses with more than 20 new templates:
Password Security
Websites and Software Security
Email Security
Physical Security (Workplace)
All these enhancements come in addition to Webroot’s current SAT features, which leverage continuous threat analysis and contextual data from the Webroot Platform to inform our DNS and endpoint protection solutions.
Not only does this new release help MSPs identify areas for improvement in how they administer SAT, but it will also help set them apart from competitors. After all, SAT is one of the best ways to prevent cyberattacks while helping you grow an MSP business. And it just got a lot simpler to do.
