The Comodo ONE managed services platform is a free managed solution that combines Patch Management, Remote Monitoring Management and Service Desk in a singular entity. Comodo recently added Device Management capabilities and an application store to the platform, according to the announcement.
As a part of the Comodo ONE eocsystem, Acronis will host and provide storage for global services that are sourced through the platform. The addition of Acronis Cloud Backup to the Comodo ONE platform is also expected to allow users to protect data wherever it is located, according to the announcement.
Comodo launched its platform earlier this year to help managed service providers replace complex systems and cut down on the number of manual tasks via a series of automated processes, said Ilker Simsir, product and platform manager for Comodo ONE.
"We selected Acronis for its ability to support any data source, destination and delivery model, as well as its proven security capabilities and support for service provider workloads,” said Simsir, in a statement.
Acronis Backup Cloud is available now in the Comodo ONE AppStore.
"Our aim is to be the best when it comes to security for cloud data protection and partnering with security leaders such as Comodo supports this goal,” said John Zanni, chief marketing officer and senior vice president, Channel & Cloud Strategy at Acronis. We're looking forward to being a strategic component of the Comodo ONE platform and working with an innovator in the MSP market."
In June, Acronis became an ISV Affiliate with Good Technology to allow customers to purchase Acronis Access Advanced for Good directly through the company and its channel partners.
Acronis also partnered with Kaspersky Lab on a series of bundled backup and security solutions and unveiled the Acronis Data Protection Platform to give enterprise customers an integrated backup, disaster recovery and secure file sync and share solution.
