Fresh on the heels of celebrating its first  birthday, remote monitoring and management vendor Continuum is stepping up its game in the mobile monitoring arena with a new Apple iOS app called ITS247, developed in cooperation with LogMeIn. The app lets the company’s partners access RMM functions and manage customer sites right from their iPhones or iPads. In addition, the company is offering a new feature — an SMS alert escalation option that lets partners receive text message alerts rather than notifications via phone call.  Here are the details.

ITS247 is available at no charge to the company’s partners to provide remote control access to any device that has Continuum agents. It also lets MSPs control several functions related to managing customer sites such as access to tickets, alerts, machines, scripts and reports for each customer.

Continuum added the new app to its lineup of offerings to provide more options to MSPs. Continuum VP said, ” To enable the highest level of productivity in today’s workforce, we need to enable IT professionals to work from anywhere, anytime.”  The company says that the new iOS app provides the same features as those available from its web-based portal.

The new app extends the partnership between the company and remote control software provider LogMeIn that was first established in the first quarter of 2012, adding LogMeIn’s functionality to Continuum’s RMM platform.

RMM vendors have been working hard over the last several years to add mobile apps to the services they offer, with several providing such apps including Kaseya, LabTech, Level Platforms and N-able.
