The new version of Good Work, which was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, features the Good Launcher business desktop, application access through Apple (AAPL) Touch ID and enterprise support for wearables.
"Our latest version of Good Work delivers innovations that reshape what the secure mobile work experience looks like on multiple form factors, including smartphones, tablets and now wearables and the Internet of Things," Good Technology CEO Christy Wyatt said in a prepared statement.
Good Launcher provides users with access to all the apps they need on the go with the push of a single button, according to Good Technology. This desktop also features a simple interface, Good Technology said, that gives users navigational control of Good Work with one-touch toggling between email, calendar, contacts and documents.
Additionally, Good Launcher offers instant access to all Good Technology apps, including:
- Good Access
- Good Connect
- Good Share
- Good for Salesforce1
Good Technology has incorporated an Apple Touch ID feature on iOS 8 devices into Good Work that enables users to "enjoy fast access to any Good-secured app."
The Sunnyvale, California-based enterprise mobility management (EMM) platform provider noted that this feature allows users to scan their fingerprints on Apple smartphones and tablets with supporting hardware without compromising Good Technology's container security.
Good Technology announced that it is the only EMM vendor providing secure data and content access on wearables as well.
The company said its Good Dynamics Platform now "ensures security and protection of business data accessed by and stored on wearables and shared between other Good-secured apps."
Good Technology currently provides mobility solutions to more than 6,200 organizations in 190 countries.
