Mycroft Inc., an international IT security SaaS provider, has disclosed some financial stats for 2011. The results? First, revenues in North America and Europe rose 33 percent from 2010 to 2011. Second, a record growth in overall new customer acquisition from 2010 to 2011. Third, a 35 percent increase in the Mycroft's staff globally,
Mycroft also opened two new company offices -- a professional services center in Detroit, Mich., and a research and development center in Waterford, Ireland. Mycroft said two factors drove revenue growth:
- Growing demand for its security-as-a-service and mobile security solutions
- Customers realizing immediate savings once they leverage Mycroft's cloud-based suite of identity and access management products
Mycroft's partnership with SailPoint, an identity management solution provider, in August 2011 also played a role in lifting the company's 2011 revenue figures. Mycroft and SailPoint partnered to develop several security solutions to help enterprises manage their IT risk, achieve corporate compliance, reduce overall IT operational costs and speed up deployment.
