Kaspersky Lab Launches New Partner Program for MSPs, VARs

The program is aimed at IT services providers and resellers who already provide security services or want to add security offerings.

Security vendor Kaspersky Lab this week announced a new program to provide managed services providers (MSPs) with a full range of security technologies for cloud or on-premise.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is designed to allow smaller MSPs to manage cloud infrastructure from a multi-tenant console.

For MSPs with larger enterprise customers, the company is offering Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business Basic and Kaspersky Security for Virtualization, to enable multi-tenant on-premises solutions that can be managed by Kaspersky’s SOC.

“In January, we touched on our commitment to focus on MSPs this year and now we are excited to reveal what we have to offer our valued partners,” Michael Canavan, senior vice president of business-to-business sales for Kaspersky Lab North America, said in a statement.

“Kaspersky Lab’s MSP Program was launched to provide more opportunity to partners – especially those that are VARs who are looking for ways to grow their business and migrate to managed service offerings in cybersecurity,” he continued. “Our program provides the necessary training, resources and access to cutting-edge security solutions to make it possible for MSP partners to completely secure the customer infrastructure.”

The new MSP program is currently available in North America and Europe.

“We welcome the introduction of Kaspersky Lab’s new MSP-dedicated partner program,” said a statement from Charles R. Weaver, CEO and co-founder the MSPAlliance, which recognized Kaspersky Lab during as Best MSP solution during last week’s MSPWorld 2017 conference.

“The rising importance of cyber security throughout the world is one of the biggest challenges facing managed services providers today,” Weaver continued. “We look forward to Kaspersky Labs’ active participation in promoting managed security services and hope that its expertise will contribute to the development of the market.”
