Avnet – Avnet last week announced the expansion of its hybrid cloud portfolio with the addition of co-location services from CoreSite, a data center and interconnection services provider of with direct access to cloud providers such as AWS, Google and Microsoft. CoreSite’s co-location services will be available both in the Avnet catalog and through the Avnet Cloud Marketplace.

TechData – TechData announced the launch of its first-ever Advanced Technologies Playbook to bring information on transformational industry trends, information and knowledge to its North American VAR community. The Playbook includes industry-related articles and product-focused content for areas such as the cloud, data analytics, security and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Cloud Harmonics – Menlo Security and Cloud Harmonics have announced joint initiatives to address enterprise malware threats. Utilizing Cloud Harmonics two-tier distribution model, the companies aim to provide Menlo’s cloud-based isolation platform in conjunction with training, services and technological support to Cloud Harmonics’ partner VARs.

Pax8: Value-added cloud distributor Pax8 is now carrying Vision Solutions’ complete line of disaster recovery and migration software including the company’s Double Take offerings, according to an announcement made earlier this month.
Pax8 said it is also selling the ProfitBricks Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform as a compliment to the Vision Solutions portfolio.
