ConnectWise to Host First IT Nation HackaThon

ConnectWise to Host First ‘IT Nation Hack-a-Thon’

The competition, to be held at IT Nation 2016 next week, aims to highlight the ease of creating seamless experiences by extending the functionality of ConnectWise tools.

As next week’s IT Nation 2016 conference draws near, ConnectWise is seeking competitors for its first-ever IT Nation Hack-a-Thon competition to showcase ways partners use ConnectWise technology to innovate solutions to real-world problems.

Competitors working alone or in groups of two will select one of five scenarios – built from partner requests – then spend two conference days developing the best solution using the ConnectWise API library.

“When the two days are up, you and/or your team will present how you took your ConnectWise out of the box to our esteemed judges,” says the IT Nation web page announcing the competition.

It adds: “The ability to create a more seamless experience with your software solutions is easier than ever and we want you to show us how easy it is to extend the functionality of your ConnectWise at IT Nation 2016.”

The 12th Annual IT Nation conference will be held Wednesday through Nov. 11, at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Fla.

Participants are advised to have some basic knowledge of the ConnectWise REST API and complete an API-focused webinar provided to prepare competitors for the event.

Competitors will be allowed to code outside of event hours as long as they’re present for all scheduled IT Nation Hack-a-Thon sessions.

Winners can qualify for cash prizes, ConnectWise swag, free registration to IT Nation 2017 and “cool gadgets.”

To register or for more information, visit the IT Nation Hack-a-Thon web page.
