Kinvey said the new solution "is delivered as both multitenant and dedicated fully managed cloud services, allowing customers to focus all their efforts on designing and delivering five-star user experiences instead of managing infrastructure."
Sravish Sridhar, Kinvey's CEO, added he believes the new release can help enterprises boost their profits and reduce their operating costs.
"This solution will continue to drive cloud adoption because Kinvey's fully managed services on vCloud Air gives enterprises a proven, scalable and secure platform that is always up to date," he told Talkin' Cloud. "Businesses that adopt it will gain a competitive advantage by building powerful B2B, B2C and B2E apps for any app use case that their business can think of, enabling the art of the possible."
How does Kinvey's new offering impact VMware customers?
Kinvey on vCloud Air allows enterprises to launch new mobile-enabled business processes and applications.
The company's new hybrid cloud solution also enables IT administrators to leverage VMware tools "to extend security and networking policies from the internal systems into the mobility layer running on vCloud Air."
VMware customers who run production applications on a virtual infrastructure now can leverage a full-featured mobility platform to bolster their data and identity systems, according to Kinvey.
"VMware vCloud Air and Kinvey are a natural combination, delivering enterprises mobile innovation on a trusted hybrid cloud platform," Ajay Patel, VMware's vice president of application services, said in a prepared statement.
