Cloud Harmonics: Cybersecurity and cloud solutions distributor Cloud Harmonics signed an agreement with ThreatSTOP this week that will allow the company to distribute the ThreatSTOP Shield and DNS Firewall network security platform to its resellers.
The distribution partnership is expected to help ThreatSTOP increase its time to market and help bring the company’s platform to new groups of channel partners, according to the announcement.
“The ability to block inbound malware attacks, ransomware and prevent data exfiltration is a critical component of any security ecosystem," said Anand Desai, vice president of Marketing and Emerging Technologies at Cloud Harmonics, in a statement. "Cloud Harmonics is pleased to work with ThreatSTOP, which provides a cloud-based SaaS threat intelligence platform, enabling our more than 400 channel partners to offer this entirely new class of protection capable of addressing the advanced cybersecurity needs of their customers.”
GCI: GCI will now distribute software-defined networking and software defined infrastructure solutions from Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT), the company announced on Monday.
The distributor said it will offer the complete portfolio of QCT products to its global channel partners through the deal, according to the press release.
“With a proven track record of enabling Cloud Solutions, QCT is in the business of extending successful hyperscale experiences utilizing cutting-edge design, manufacturing, optimization and validation processes,” said Jim Bradshaw, CEO and Chairman of the Board of GCI. “Our new distribution agreement allows us to bring their expertise to our Solution Provider Community and demonstrates our continued commitment to deliver innovative services and solutions to the channel that create positive partner outcomes.”
D&H: D&H launched its “Evolve” incentive program this week, which will allow the distributor’s Cisco resellers to receive additional discounting when migrating customers to Cisco SMB solutions, according to the announcement.
D&H partners are required to visit a dedicated portal and enter brand information and serial numbers for their existing end-customer products to receive a voucher for new Cisco solutions. The program is valid until July 29, 2016.
“As the go-to SMB distributor, D&H has always focused on developing programs with its manufacturer partners that deliver specific benefit to this customer profile,” said Tim Billing, vice president of product management - global vendors at D&H Distributing. “Such plans help give VARs a competitive edge when selling into smaller markets.
