NaviSite, Richardson Eyres Partner for U.K. Cloud Services

NaviSite Europe Ltd., the European arm of Time Warner Cable subsidiary NaviSite, has partnered up with U.K.-based solution provider Richardson Eyres for NaviCloud-based managed service delivery.

According to the press release, NaviSite went through an intensive vetting process for a cloud channel partner in the region before settling on Richardson Eyres. The partnership will enable Richardson Eyres to add the entire range of NaviCloud hosting, managed application, managed messaging and other assorted cloud services to its portfolio, bringing the affordability and scalability of the public cloud to customers in the United Kingdom.

Adam Kemp, CEO of Richardson Eyres, said in the press release:

“Having long provided our customers with IT solutions and services typically focussed on saving businesses time and making them more profitable, we understand the importance of a robust infrastructure. Increasingly our customers are enquiring about cloud services and we recognise the importance of moving into that space, but doing so with due diligence. NaviSite represents a positive move forward in our product line and with the obvious synergies between our two companies we are confident in bringing our customers a best of breed cloud service.”

NaviSite isn’t messing around when it comes to building a beachhead for NaviCloud in the United Kingdom — in the summer of 2011, NaviSite built a cloud node for exactly that purpose. And it’s good to see NaviSite bringing a trusted partner along for the ride.
