PerfectCloud Now Offers SmartSignin Cloud Solution Through GOVonomy

PerfectCloud is offering its SmartSignin cloud security solution to public-sector agencies through the GOVonomy marketplace.

Enterprise cloud and mobile security solutions provider PerfectCloud is now offering its SmartSignin cloud security solution to public-sector agencies through the GOVonomy marketplace.

With SmartSignin, public-sector agencies can control access to their cloud applications from a single dashboard across multiple devices, PerfectCloud said. The solution is designed to ensure customers, employees and partners can comply with an agency's bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policies and secure their data.

PerfectCloud claims public-sector agencies can use SmartSignin to manage access to their cloud applications through single sign-on and two-factor authentication. In addition, federal, local and state organizations, law enforcement groups and schools are among the public-sector agencies that will be able to purchase PerfectCloud's security applications through GOVonomy.

PerfectCloud Chief Executive Officer Mayukh Gon commented on the announcement in a prepared statement:

"With the recent rash of high-profile data security breaches, security is top of mind for any entity purchasing a cloud application ... We look forward to providing absolute security for public-sector companies through GOVonomy with our SmartSignin solution."

GOVonomy Managing Partner Nitin Pradhan claims it is often difficult for public-sector agencies to purchase cloud security applications due to lengthy proposal and request for proposal (RFP) processes. However, Pradhan said in a prepared statement he believes public-sector agencies will now be able to access PerfectCloud's security applications to better manage cloud and data security risks.
