Hosting services provider Internap Network Services (INAP) has updated its partner program to align with its data center infrastructure offering, aiming to bring maximum value to agent partners and their clients, the company has announced.
To complement its data center infrastructure offering, which includes cloud, hosting, colocation and hybrid services, Internap has established a dedicated global channel sales team to engage directly with its agent community and ensure onboarding and training.
Internap partner Avant CEO Ian Kieninger said in a prepared statement that Internap's support allows his company to deliver "critical value" to clients.
The portal offers additional support to partners, and it also simplifies and expedites agent lead submission and management. The portal now updates agent contracts to allow partners to select the program and compensation levels that are most appropriate for their business model.
Internap Vice President of Global Strategic Channels Stephen Callahan said in a statement that the company's go-to-market strategy will continue with investments into Internap's partner program.
"As we continue to drive adoption of our hybrid IT infrastructure portfolio, including our full range of custom and on-demand cloud and hosting services, we recognize the significance of all sales channels, and our agent partners are an important route to market," he said.
Internap opened a new customer portal in late April 2013 with the goal of removing the silos that exist between cloud and colocation services.
