Wholesale Carrier Services (WCS, Booths 230-232) is demonstrating its new quoting, contracting and provisioning tool, PartnerNet, developed according to feedback from several of the industrys largest master agencies.

Overall, they wanted a platform that would cut down on time spent doing pre-sale quoting and calculating contract costs, and reduce overhead, WCS said.

WCS spent 18 months creating PartnerNet for solutions providers in its private-label Virtual Telco Channel Partner program.

PartnerNet features four modules: TeleQuote, Contract Manager, OrderView and Revenue Manager. It further provides Web-based access to WCS 80 carriers and 130 services, and offers API/Web services integration for each carrier, all through one contract and billing platform.

Imagine a Web portal where local, long-distance, DIA, MPLS/IP VPN and enterprise wireless products can be qualified, real-time quoted, contracted and the orders monitored entirely online, said Chris Barton, president and CEO of WCS. The channel partner sets the price to their customer and controls the profit margin on a saleby-sale basis.

Barton said WCS invested more than $1 million in the platform and that it provides advanced reporting views to all system users, as well as full visibility into quoting volumes, work-order status, and revenue and margin data.
