Yee-haw! Welcome back to Channel Partner Program Roundup, where we gather the latest partner news from the best companies in the channel. This week we’re shining a spotlight on My Digital Shield (MDS), En Pointe Technologies and Peak.
My Digital Shield: Security-as-a-service provider My Digital Shield announced its new “Race to Platinum” Partner Program, a limited-time promotion that provides new channel partners with the opportunity to automatically join the My Digital Shield channel partnership program as Gold Partners. By allowing new partners to bypass the entry-level bronze and silver levels, MDS is looking to give initiates a leg-up on the competition with a 32 percent monthly revenue share and promotional assistance.
“We are excited about the progress of our partner program over the past several months and look forward to continued growth and momentum,” said Andrew Bagrin, founder and CEO of My Digital Shield, in a statement. “The ‘Race to Platinum’ promotion is our way of giving MSPs the chance to start seeing immediate benefits as an MDS reseller without the initial expense of up-front costs.”
Newly minted Gold level partners will be able to achieve Platinum status by selling 50 or more MDS subscriptions in the first three months, according to the company. Platinum level members will receive 40 percent continuous revenue share, a designated account manager and access to customized promotion materials and joint marketing events.
En Pointe Technologies: Microsoft Licensing Solutions Provider En Pointe Technologies won the 2014 Silver Level Excellence in Operations Award for delivering market-leading operational excellence supporting Microsoft (MSFT) technology over the past year, according to the company. The award marks the seventh consecutive year En Pointe has been recognized for operational excellence while supporting Microsoft technology.
Microsoft presented En Pointe with the award for its “superior operational excellence” and for meeting and exceeding requirements for valid contracts while remaining 100 percent certified in Microsoft Volume Licensing Programs, according to the company.
“It takes a great deal of focus and dedication to be excellent in operations, especially as Microsoft’s expectations rise and partner requirements continue to get more stringent,” said Dr. Shahzad Munawwar, CIO, En Pointe Technologies. “This seventh consecutive award win is a testament to En Pointe’s expertise in operational efficiencies, dedicated teamwork, and its ability to align with an ever evolving software industry. Congratulations to our operations team on another impressive win."
