Namely Partners With Sequoia And Raises $45M Series C Round. Cloud-based HR services company Namely has closed a $45 million Series C funding round led by Sequoia Capital. Matt Straz, Namely’s CEO, said his company will use the funding to expand its team and services.

Workday Invests In Tidemark’s New $25M Funding Round. Cloud-based financial planning and analysis software provider Tidemark has added $25 million, bringing its total funding to more than $100 million. Workday (WDAY) participated in the funding round, according to VentureBeat.

Cryptzone Secures $15M Series B Funding Led By Kayne Anderson. Cryptzone, a company that specializes in network, application and content security solutions, has secured $15 million in Series B funding. Kayne Partners led the funding round, with participation from existing investor Medina Capital and several partners. Cryptzone said it will use the Series B funds to support its go-to-market strategy and fuel its global expansion.

Komprise Pulls In $6Mln Series A. Komprise has raised $6 million in a Series A funding round led by Canaan Partners. The company noted that it will use the funding to bolster its data management software and expand its product, engineering, sales and marketing teams.

Minio Lands $3.3M Seed Round To Build Out Open Source Storage Project. Open source cloud storage provider Minio has secured $3.3 million in seed funding, according to Tech Crunch. Nexus Venture Partners and General Catalyst Partners led the funding round, with participation from AME Cloud Ventures, Index Ventures and other investors. Minio founder Anand Babu Periasamy said his company will use the funding “to provide a scalable, yet simple storage solution built for developers.”
