Kaspersky Lab North America has integrated the Autotask Endpoint Management solution into its anti-malware technologies in an effort to help managed service providers protect their customer’s endpoint solutions.
The solution is expected to help MSPs deliver a more unified approach for security management in light of the increasing number of malware attacks on personal and enterprise computers and mobile devices, according to the announcement.
Autotask Endpoint Management is the professional services automation (PSA) vendor's entry into the remote monitoring and management (RMM) market, built from its acquisition of CentraStage last year.
A recent Kaspersky Lab study found $2.2 billion malware attacks reported in Q1 of 2015, which is double the amount reported during the same quarter in 2014.
“With the ever-evolving threat landscape and the increase in sophisticated cyberthreats, it’s more important now than ever that businesses implement the proper security solutions and services to protect sensitive corporate and customer information,” said Joe Conti, head of MSP channel sales at Kaspersky Lab North America, in a statement. “With our partnership with Autotask, it’s easier than ever before for MSPs to protect and manage their customers’ endpoints.”
Kaspersky’s security solution includes web content filtering, device and application controls to allow users to customize their security policies, according to the announcement. Autotask’s Endpoint Management solution, meanwhile, provides users with visibility and control over their devices across multiple operating systems.
“Kaspersky brings strong leadership in the endpoint security market, and when combined with AEM, provides our joint customers a unique single pane of glass to manage their endpoint security solution,” said Len DiCostanzo, senior vice president of Community & Business Development at Autotask. “For IT and managed service providers concerned with the security of their client’s data, this will be a clear differentiator.”
