GFI Expands MSP Software Offerings Amid World Tour

GFI Software continues to expand its MSP software platform while kicking off a world conference tour that has stops in Australia, Las Vegas, London and Berlin. The flagship GFI MAX platform is gaining remote control and MDM (mobile device management) capabilities. But the moves don’t stop there.

GFI MAX General Manager Alistair Forbes is on the road later this month in Australia for a customer conference. MSPmentor will be on hand when the GFI MAX conference shifts to Las Vegas (Sept. 23-24) later this month.

Among the key themes to track: GFI’s increasingly diversified MSP platform. Pushing beyond traditional RMM (remote monitoring and management), GFI has recently introduced backup capabilities and also continues to push its mail security and managed anti-virus services.

Among the latest moves: The GFI MAX RemoteManagement platform this week gained a new Remote Background Management feature. It allows MSPs to remotely complete maintenance on their customers’ networks without interrupting the customers’ work, GFI indicated.

Are more moves coming? Absolutely. We have a few hunches about what’s coming next. But that will have to wait for our next blog.
